This comedy farce was performed at Theatr Colwyn in November 2019. Really funny play and script, to quote Colin Holmes the director "we are all normal human beings who occasionally dress up and pretend we are someone else we would like to be ........ not in the case of this play which is ridiculous.....".
All Aboard
The Colwyn Abbey Tappers held a song and dance night with a natuical theme on 13 July 2019.
Pontypool
This short play by Tony Burgess was an unusual foray for us into the horror genre. We performed this on 28 June 2019.
Wing It Dusty
We performed this play by Teresa Hennesey at the Conwy One Act Play Festival on 30 March 2019.

To round off our 70th Anniversary year we presented Neil Simon's farce at Theatr Colwyn in November 2017.
The Bald Prima Donna
We presented this absurd comedy at the 2017 Conwy Festival of One Act Plays and won Best Production and Robert Edwards won Best Individual Performance.
The Legacy
We revived The Legacy for the 2017 Conwy Festival of One Act Plays and the Leverhulme Drama Festival.
Ebenezer Scrooge
We presented the world premiere of this new musical by Colin Holmes and Peter Williams based on the Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol in November 2016.

Calling Time by Derek Webb
We presented this comedy on 24 March 2012 at Conwy Civic Hall as part of the Drama Association of Wales' One Act Play Festival. We presented it again at Llanrhos Old School and then at the Leverhulme Drama Festival in April 2012 at which Derek Owen won best supporting actor.

Two's A Crowd by Michael Legat
We presented this one act farce on 18 March 2011 as part of the Drama Association of Wales' One Act Play Festival. Sharon Huxley won Best Actor and Jayne Jones won Best Supporting Actor.

An Abbey Christmas 2009
On 4 December 2009 the Colwyn Abbey Tappers got into the Christmas spirit with a cabaret at Colwyn Bay Football Club.

The youth members presented this funny and moving musical play at Conwy Civic Hall on 4 & 5 September 2009.
Disturbance by Colin Lawrence
This one act play was presented at Bryn Pydew Village Hall on 11 July 2009. It was followed by Cheese and Wine and a fiendishly tricky quiz.
A Slight Inconvenience by Margaret Kynaston
This play was our entry in the Drama Association of Wales' one act play festival held at Theatr Colwyn in March 2009. We won first prize with Sharon Huxley also winning Best Actor.

Stepping Out was the play that started our

section. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Colwyn Abbey Players we revived the show at Theatr Colwyn on 2 and 3 November 2008.
Our Day Out by Willy Russell
We presented this funny and moving play with music by Willy Russell on 7 and 8 September 2007. It tells the story of a school trip from Liverpool to Conwy castle. Our production was performed within sight of the castle in that beautiful Welsh town.
The Legacy
Our entry into Colwyn Bay One Act Drama Play Festival in March 2007 won first prize. Sharon Huxley won best actress as well so congratulations are in order.
A Taste of the 60s
We presented A Taste of the 60s on 20 and 27 January 2007. Featuring a revival of What Brutes Men Are and a musical trip down memory lane the show was well received and great fun to do.
They Came From Mars ......
Our successful production of this Farndale Avenue Classic was presented at St Paul's Church Hall on 27 and 28 October 2006.
Finger Lickin' Chicken and Chips Cabaret
On 14 July 2006 we did our cabaret show with a splendid Chicken and Chip supper at the Llandudno Junction Sports and Social Club.

On 29 & 30 October 2004 Colwyn Abbey Players presented a tribute to the men and women of wartime Britain in a nostalgic Second World War extravaganza "Ration Books and Stockings".
